Corporate file sharing: Soonr the better?

Enterprise-grade secure file sharing and collaboration provider has come to Australia with the appointment of Manage Protect as its strategic distributor.

b8efd8f8996bc127bf3c36aa42b75c61_MUnlike the consumer-oriented services, Soonr provides the level of security required by business users, company officials claimed. Its internal operational controls comply with SSAE-16 and ISAE 340, they explained.

Australian customers’ data is stored redundantly in data centres in Sydney and Melbourne, they said, providing better performance thanks to low latency, as well as compliance with local privacy regulations.

“I started using Soonr Workplace some eight months ago for Manage Protect‘s own business needs,” said Manage Protect director Andrew Johnson.

“The all-in-one, industrial strength service enables my team to securely access and work on the files they need from the office, home or phone/tablet natively without having to setup remote access and VPNs.
“Soonr allows me to centrally manage all of my organisation’s files, anywhere, anytime using any device with a browser, securely and easily.”

Soonr features include the ability to render more than 40 document types for display on mobile devices without having to download the file, notification of changes to collaborative projects, and at least 99.9% uptime.

The decision to distribute Soonr in Australia was driven by demand from Manage Protect’s managed Exchange customers who wanted a secure and flexible cloud file-sharing service.

Around the world, more than 150,000 organisations use Soonr.

Prices start at $14 per month for 1TB of storage. No contracts are required, and a 14-day free trial is available.
