Empowering MSPs and Safeguarding Businesses with Guardz and Manage Protect

As businesses face an ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape, staying ahead of the curve is more crucial than ever. To equip Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with the tools and insights they need, Manage Protect and Guardz hosted two engaging webinar sessions. Featuring special guests Andrew Brett, Co-founder and Director of Infosure, and Doni Brass, VP of Product at Guardz, the webinars highlighted essential strategies for navigating cybersecurity challenges and opportunities now and into the future.

Here are the key takeaways from these informative sessions:

Guardz in 2024: Elevating Cybersecurity Management

Launched in March 2024, Guardz continues to be a game-changer for MSPs, offering a holistic platform that consolidates multiple security features into one streamlined solution. Feedback from partners emphasized the platform’s ability to address cybersecurity pain points, including email compromise, ransomware, and online fraud.

Guardz simplifies operations by reducing the reliance on disparate point solutions. It empowers MSPs to improve their clients’ cybersecurity hygiene while creating growth opportunities through tools like prospecting reports and business reviews.

Managed Detection and Response (MDR): Advanced Threat Mitigation

A highlight of both sessions was the announcement of a new Managed Detection and Response (MDR) feature, currently in beta. Leveraging AI, the MDR system connects data across sources to detect and remediate threats proactively. Features include customisable settings for device isolation and user suspension.

The MDR is further enhanced with the Sentinel One integration. Sentinel One’s endpoint security strengthens the Guardz platform, offering comprehensive protection against account compromise, ransomware, phishing, and data loss. The Sentinel One Integration is currently in beta and will be available through the “Ultimate Plan” (launching Q1 2025) for advanced threat protection.

Cyber Insurance: Bridging the Gap with Guardz and Infosure

Cyber insurance emerged as a focal point, with growing demand driven by rising cybersecurity risks. Guardz integrates seamlessly with Infosure and Emergence to offer a frictionless quote process once a client’s security score reaches 80.

The benefits of the frictionless application of cyber insurance are wide spread and include:immediate access to breach coaches, forensic experts, and PR specialists in the event of a cyber incident, coverage for legal fees, business interruption, and more, all tailored to SMB needs. Infosure’s Andrew Brett emphasised the value of aligning cyber insurance with overall security measures, making it an essential part of the cybersecurity journey.

Operational Efficiency for MSPs

The webinars underscored Guardz’s role in enhancing MSPs’ operational efficiency. By consolidating tools, reducing client onboarding complexity, and offering actionable insights through reporting, Guardz helps MSPs focus on delivering value to their customers.

Looking Ahead: The Cybersecurity Landscape

The collaboration between Manage Protect, Guardz, and Infosure represents a significant step forward in equipping MSPs to address evolving cybersecurity threats. With advanced tools like MDR, robust integrations, and seamless access to cyber insurance, MSPs can confidently navigate the most demanding cyber security challenges.
