When did you join Manage Protect?

I started with Manage Protect in the middle of May 2024.

What is your role at Manage Protect? Tell us about what you do.

I’m Head of Marketing & Communications. I’m currently working part time with the team and my role encompasses marketing and communications strategy, content planning and execution, event partnerships and management, working with our vendors on co-promoting their products and our services and ensuring our partners are up to date with the latest updates, pulling together our monthly newsletter, running our blog and social media.

What’s your favourite part about the job?

My favourite thing is working with a team that are aligned to my values. MP really do live by their core values and it’s a breath of fresh air to work with people I feel are so passionate about the work they do and eager to serve their partners and vendors.

What did you do before Manage Protect? Tell us a bit about your background.

I worked as a music publicist for around 14 years then moved into politics for a hot minute before consulting to a couple of businesses and moving into a full time role as Head of Marketing and Communications with a community for startup founders and investors. I currently run a consulting business and work with Manage Protect as well as a company that facilitates workshops and coaching for leaders and teams. I also fuel my passion for music by working with a couple of music clients to help promote their music and tours.

What do you get up to outside of work?

I have a 3 year old who keeps me very busy on weekends with her overflowing social calendar. I enjoy running, going to the gym, reading and listening to books, music, camping, going to the beach as often as I can and spending lots of time with my family and friends.

What is your choice of beverage?

COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE and red wine! Not necessarily in that order (joking!)

What are you looking forward to for the rest of the year?

I’m really excited to get even deeper into this role and to make a real difference to Manage Protect, our valued partners and vendors. We’ve got lots of exciting plans up our sleeves for content, events and ways to connect with our existing and future partners and the SMBs they service.
