When did you join Manage Protect? I started on Friday, 21st of July, 2023
What is your role at Manage Protect? Tell us about what you do.
As Marketing Lead, my aim is to the let the MSPs of Australia and New Zealand know that Manage Protect get’s SMBs.
With 15+ years experience in specifically catering to small and medium sized businesses, we know what problems SMBs and sole traders face and have all the support here to help.
What’s your favourite part about the job?
Marketing is always changing which means that no two days are the same and keeps me on my toes, but, I’d say the favourite part about my role is meeting new partners, understanding their problems and helping them to realise their goals.
Any pet peeves?
Coming from the UK it’s been a while since I’ve had a decent cup of tea out in Sydney which is concerning… but personally, loud eaters will always get under my skin.
To the guilty culprits in the Manage Protect team, you know who you are…
What did you do before Manage Protect? Tell us a bit about your background.
Previously, I worked as the Demand Generation Manager for a Dutch cyber security business based in Amsterdam called Zivver. It was a lot of fun as I got to meet with and learn from a very diverse network of IT security pros and test new campaigns in the UK and Benelux regions.
Prior to that I was the Senior Marketing Manager at THG Ingenuity which is a tech firm in the UK that specialises in end-to-end marketing and SaaS solutions which meant that I got to work with some very exciting clients.
What do you get up to outside of work?
I’m a big rugby fan, so whether it’s catching the last State of Origin game (up the blues) or watching footy with my friends, you can usually find me on weekends playing in or watching matches.
What is your choice of beverage?
On weekends, a pint of Three Sheets from the Lord Nelson’s always goes down nicely but day-to-day you can’t go wrong with a Yorkshire tea.
What are you looking forward to for the rest of the year?
Professionally, I am looking forward to helping Manage Protect realise their vision of helping SMBs and bring our new cyber security solutions to the market.
On a personal level, having recently moved to Sydney from the UK, I’m excited to settle in and make the most of my new home here in Australia.
