Bill Greville is the Director of Suite 418, an IT solutions provider with a keen focus on the hospitality industry. Today we’re pleased to feature Bill and his company Suite 418 as our monthly Partner Profile.  

About Suite 418

Beginning in 2004 as part of a franchise, Suite 418’s focus was on the traditional break/fix model, attracting leads through expensive advertising. Across the following five years, they eked out a living as part of the franchise, which was predominantly directed to residential customers.  

It was at a conference in 2015 that Suite 418 were introduced to the concept of Managed Services. “It made a lot of sense, and we immediately implemented the model in our business, moving our focus to small-to-medium business within the hospitality sector,” says Bill. Today, 90% of our customers are from that sector and 99.9% of our income is invoiced monthly, in advance. “Manage Protect has been a key partner in providing us the tools and advice that have helped us in our journey!” 

Suite 418 are almost 100% solely Cloud Services oriented.  

Customer Focus

Primarily, Bill and Suite 418 work with customers directly in hospitality including pub groups, venues and restaurants. They have also integrated managed services with horizontal markets such as point-of-sale providers, industry bodies that work with government to protect the hospitality industry, air-conditioning companies, and more. 

Products & Tools

Suite 418 ensure security and compliance in their cloud solutions by employing the vendor solutions provided to by long-term partner, Manage Protect. these include M365 MFA, Dropsuite, Guardz, MPmail, and more. Suite418 are an adopter of all relevant MP tools and platforms and have recently changed to NinjaOne for their RMM tools. 

Issues & Solutions

The three main issues Suite 418 solve for their customers include:  

  1. User attrition and addition 
  1. Security Compartmentalisation of data within their Cloud File Server. 
  1. Disaster Recovery 

Suite 418 are a small, bespoke MSP who pride themselves on their personal service. “Our customers know our individual mobile phone numbers and will call when urgent attention is required,” says Bill. For less urgent support tickets, customers will submit a ticket through our RMM, which is installed on all managed devices.
