Every month, Manage Protect checks Microsoft’s CSP pricing against what we were paying the month before.
Most months, it’s quiet. This one wasn’t — Microsoft made a meaningful round of adjustments across Microsoft 365 suites, standalone licences, nonprofit pricing, and Copilot bundles between 1 June and 7 July 2026.
Here’s what moved, what it means for your cost, and where we’d suggest double-checking a quote before it goes out.
Microsoft 365 price changes - The short version
- 57 SKUs were repriced. No products were renamed — this is purely a pricing update, not a catalogue restructure.
- Most SKUs got more expensive. Across standard Microsoft 365 suites, standalone add-ons, and nonprofit staff pricing, our buy price moved up by an average of roughly 12–13%, with individual SKUs ranging from a couple of percent to over 40%.
- Copilot bundles went the other way. The Microsoft 365 + Copilot bundle SKUs (Business Basic, Standard, and Premium with Copilot) actually got cheaper with a buy price down by anywhere from 1% to around 41%, depending on the SKU.
- Two new SKUs appeared — a larger Windows 365 Enterprise Select configuration, and a Microsoft 365 E7 variant without Audio Conferencing.
- One category needs a manual check before you quote it: Copilot licensing under Nonprofit and Education pricing has a cost increase that isn’t reflected in the published retail price for those SKUs — see below.
M365 RRP movements — the numbers you can pass straight through
Unlike our buy price, Microsoft RRP is public information, so here it is in full.
The pattern is straightforward: standard commercial suites and standalone licences saw RRP increases in the same range as the underlying cost increase — typically single digits to low double digits, with a handful of lower-volume SKUs (Microsoft 365 F1/F3 no-Teams variants, in particular) moving by 25–40%+.
The interesting exception is the Copilot-bundled suites — Business Standard, Business Premium, and Business Basic with Copilot — where RRP actually dropped, in some cases by close to 30%. If you’ve quoted these bundles recently, it’s worth revisiting — your customers should end up paying less, and your margin on these products has meaningfully improved.

What this means for your Microsoft margin
For most of the 57 repriced SKUs, the buy-side and RRP-side movements have tracked closely enough that your margin on those products is largely unchanged — Microsoft passed the increase straight through, and so have we, in the RRP.
The Copilot suite bundles are the standout: cost down, and by more than the RRP correction, which means your margin on 365 + Copilot bundles has actually widened this month. Worth flagging to any customers you’re actively quoting on those SKUs.
One to watch: Copilot under Nonprofit and Education pricing
This is the one worth a manual check. Copilot licencing sold under Nonprofit Staff Pricing and Education Faculty/Student pricing has had a cost increase of around 10%, but the published retail price for these specific SKUs isn’t a standard market rate — Microsoft lists it as a placeholder rather than a true RRP, which means it doesn’t automatically adjust the way a normal SKU does.
The practical effect: if you’re quoting Copilot for a nonprofit or education customer using the old reference price, you’re likely looking at a margin that’s thinner than it should be, and potentially underwater depending on how the quote was built. Before you send a renewal or a new quote involving Copilot for a nonprofit or education account, get in touch with your Manage Protect Partner manager and we’ll work out the right number with you directly, rather than relying on the standard price list for this one.
New Microsoft 365 SKUs to be aware of
Two SKUs joined the catalogue this period:
- A larger Windows 365 Enterprise Select configuration (256GB tier)
- Microsoft 365 E7 without Audio Conferencing — for customers who want E7 features but manage conferencing separately
Both are on the full list linked above if you want pricing detail.
What to do next
- Browse the full SKU changes list for anything in your active pipeline.
- Revisit any open Copilot bundle quotes — Business Standard/Premium/Basic with Copilot are now better value for your customer and better margin for you.
- Hold off on standard-rate Copilot quotes for nonprofit or education customers until you’ve checked in with us.
- As always, reach out to your Partner manager if you want us to run the numbers on a specific customer or renewal.
We’ll keep tracking these month to month and flag anything else that moves.
